According to British sports sources, Premier League team Tottenham Hotspur is ready to make a bid for Fenerbahçe’s forward Semih Senturk in replace of poor performance shown strikers Robbie Keane and Roman Pavluchenko on January’s mid transfer season.

27-year-old Semih Senturk has 21 caps for his country – he was definitely impressive at Euro 2008 – and has attracted interest from several European clubs like Malaga, Ajax and Milan recently. Semih was almost substutite during current seasonand gave a solid performance until with 7 goals and seven assissts, an efficiency ratio of a goal or assist every 49.6 minutes.

Turkish sports daily “NTVSpor” also confirmed this transfer rumour. According to NTVSpor which is Turkey’s biggest sport portal stated that Jamie Rednapp target Turkish Striker to strengthen their squad with consideration of Champions League and Premier League.

Before his contract expiration, this possible move can provide a big step for Semih Senturk in order to show his potential at European Football. I believe Tottenham Hotspur is close to gain a very talented player. From Fenerbahce’s supporters’ side, it can a big lose. However Semhi Senturk doesn’t deserve to be a substitute players, in contraire he deserve every big challenges such as Premier League field.

Semih is the best Striker in the Turkish league, and I think it’s time for him to go to Europe! He will be successful than Tuncay Sanli. Plus He doesn’t usually start in first-11. NOT FAIR!!
