Josico joins Fenerbahçe
By: j | August 28th, 2008Luis Aragonés addressed a massive weakspot with the Yellow Canaries today by adding Josico from Villarreal CF. The thirty-three year-old shut-down midfielder will be immediately deputized into service and plug the gaping defensive liabilities with the club once Mehmet Aurélio departed.
Josico commented today on FB TV.
”I’m so happy to be here in Istanbul. I have already known Güiza and Aragonés, so I do not think that it will be hard for me to get used to Fenerbahce. Everyone tells how fantastic Fenerbahce fans are, so I know that they are the best. There are three long roads ahead of us: the Champions League, Turkish league and Turkish Cup. All I want to do is to help my team in the best way I can.”,

Hmmm, is a 33yr old player like Josico really what Fener needs right now? Still, I guess he’ll have to try his best to make up for Aurelio’s absence.

1 month. The least time a player needs to get used to a team, and the country.1 month results in at least 4 matches. To be honest,I dont really believe he can cover Aurelio’s absence. We’ll see.

It is unbelievable! we were waiting Alonso, Senna and at least Aurelio’s abilities players, we contracted with this unknown player. What a disappointment. In this transfer season, Fenerbahce did unexpected movement for team.
