By: j | February 27th, 2009
Following last weeks disappointing loss to GençlerbirliÄŸi, Fenerbahçe welcome first place Sivasspor to Şükrü SaracoÄŸlu. Hanging on to fourth place of the Süper Lig table, eight points behind the leaders, the Yellow Canaries desperately need a win if they are to keep their championship hopes alive. Bülent Uygun’s Sivasspor are in the midst of a eleven match unbeaten streak but showing signs recently of playing both Bursaspor and Kayserispor to unsatisfying draws.
Luis Aragonés will be without Selçuk Şahin and Abdülkadir Kayalı for the match with late decisions on Daniel Güiza, Edu Dracena and Josico.

I’ve said this before, I know, but I’ll say it again; this is the match that will decide Aragones’ future with the club. If Fener can win this match as well as next week’s tough road trip to Kayseri, they might be able to revive their season. However anything less than 6 points from these matches would all be the end of the line.

On an added note, I love Aragones’ footy skills.
