Fenerbahçe v Bursaspor in Türkiye Kupası match preview
By: j | January 28th, 2009
Fenerbahçe returns to play this evening against Bursaspor in the Türkiye Kupası at Şükrü Saracoğlu. Former Beşiktaş leader Ertuğrul Sağlam, as expected, has Bursaspor playing well, as shown in their solid 2-0 defeat of İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor this past weekend. Bursaspor features Belarusian international Maksim Romaschenko anchoring the midfield with eighteen year-old Turkey U21 international Sercan Yildirim is an extraordinary talent at striker. The only notable absence for the Yellow Canaries is Edu Dracena who is listed as questionable. Expect this match to be very tightly played defensive battle as both sides will not go forward without concern for risking the counter.
As always I will report on the match as it concludes.
