derby day against BeÅŸiktaÅŸ preview
By: j | November 28th, 2008The great derby against BeÅŸiktaÅŸ is only hours away and like the extraordinary performance against Galatasaray, the Yellow Canaries must rise to the occasion. Mustafa Denizli’s side are second in Süper Lig table and showing little weaknesses in play as well as a resolve to win the championship. Luis Aragonés must invigorate Fenerbahçe to put the disappointment of the Porto match behind them and rally them for an enormous test. Defending will be key against the Black Eagles who attack with a flourish and know how to capitalize on set pieces.
At this stage the club has yet to announce any substantial injury reports although Tümer Metin and
Semih Şentürk are assumed out. As soon as I receive an update on this I will post.
